Naturally you’d rather not fall in at all
Rabbit holes are long and scary
But deep within the burrow
You see things you’ve never seen before
You see food and magic and sparkles and shimmer
And once you fall in
It’s best to never come out
Its best to stay there for your entire lifetime
And fourteen lifetimes to come
Until pillows are sent up
Cushions of cotton candy and pillow
Bring you up into the world
For your next prospect
But most of the time
Once you fall in
You need to come back up again
And there are stairs for those who come up willingly
(as long as your willing to push others down on your way up)
But if the gods want you up
And your not ready
They bring out the cellar
Of handcuffs and whips and shackles of torture
And as your pushed up you’re bruised and scratched and hurt
The damage depending on how deep you fell
But oh gods
Ive fallen so deep
I can feel every cm you push me up
On my skin.
