You wrap me like a present, tenderly tying a bow,
Air reassuring and pleasant, I’m a sapling of your sow.
Your touch is of a blanket, a bandage covering wound,
For society arrives, with handfuls of salt, attuned.
You’re the guide when im astray, a map to my misplaced,
Of my household delights, you’re the sweet aftertaste.
You make blood united family, you make house home,
A remedy for the crestfallen, no longer alone.
Layer upon layer, piece by precious piece,
Like wrapping paper, you smooth out life’s crease.
With you flaws slowly fade, strenghen my core,
With you, complete, I endure and soar.
