They say tomorrow never comes,
Then why do I worry about it?
They say life won’t be reduced to crumbs,
Then why do I not live infinite?
Like one squeezes the life out of toothpaste,
Just to stretch its lifespan, just to stay.
Like one only eats half, to again relish the taste,
Why do we sacrifice, only to stop midway?
I do not train, do not devote, in fear of losing the medal.
I do not ride, in fear of losing the break pedal.
I do not excel, in fear of losing the glory,
Longing to safely, unhappily rid of my life’s story.
