Humanity

Humanity feeds on oppurtunity,

Savors the flesh of cut wounds.

Malicious cravings pass through trees, a disease hereditary,

Battles and diminishers with cutlery attuned.

No bottle which hasn’t been drunk, no chair left unsit,

No item left unused, despite being labelled as “unfit”.

Silk, cotton, paper, nuts and jute,

To the pesticides used to make an obscure fruit.

Humanity forces the sky to rain.

It is England who shoplifted the globe’s dignity,

For every natural and unnatural being is slain,

It is the gifts of green who are enslaved and obligatory.

The spider valiantly stops the pendulum,

Courageously rebels against idealists of allah and jerusalem,

For it is the head of its pack, the ice of it’s brew,

It writes webs to fulfill, to carry it’s home’s sew.

Humanity does not need nor pleads for its blessings,

No money, no innovation, nor pointless sellings,

Yet it is still destroyed, it is crushed, it is dainty yet destructed,

Just for the fun of it, the dandelions are uprooted.
